My Comment on an article "Excise Duty cut may be taxing for auto companies stuck with inventory" published in the Economic Times Dated 19/02/2014 at 12:30 pm.
"This cut is presently beneficial to the customers only.
But demand may increase and when it increases, the inventories will get exhausted quickly.
So additional units sold can offset the extra burden on manufacturers within some period and there after they will be in profits due to increased sales. Ultimately it will improve economy."
