| Your comment on the article ''You smelt it right, Railways washes blankets every two months'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com Dated 27/02/2016 at 2:50 pm. | |
| ''Very sorry to know this fact. I just travelled in AC and was very glad to see that railways supplied bed sheets and blankets to each passenger. I used them very happily by covering myself with the linen blanket to protect myself from cold and did not experience any bad smell at all. I wish that Railways can afford to wash the linens every week, if not daily or otherwise. The AC class fares charged are already enough to bear the washing expenses. They can offer them to private parties for washing, if they do not have enough washing facilities at their end. I hope Railways will think over it and care for our health.'' | |

A Comment on Indian Railways inviting Obama take a Maharaja treat
My Comment on an article "IRCTC invites US President Barack Obama & family for a Maharaja's treat" published in the economictimes.com dated 19/01/2015 at 4:15 pm.
"Very exciting to know about this wow features of Maharaja EXpress.
3000 Dollar cost for a single journey is unimaginable for any common man. But, it is great to see that our Railways has this Maharaja Express service.
Especially, if US president Obama accepts the invite and takes a trip on it, it will be a great event."

A Comment on Railways providing SMS alerts to passengers
My Comment on an article "Railways Vote on Account: Waitlisted passengers to get automatic SMS alerts" published in the Economic Times Dated 12/02/2014 at 5:30 pm.
"Very good facilities. IT has enabled much customer friendly services in all fields.
It is good to see Railways are using technology to the utmost benefit of customers.
SMS booking of unreserved quota tickets, providing information regarding position of waiting list passengers through SMS and meals booking, etc. are much desirable needs of travellers which are being met now by current proposals of our Railway minister."

| Your comment on the article ''Railways to try dynamic fares like airlines to mop up extra revenue'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com Dated 21/12/2013 at 3:45 pm. | |
| ''I hope the Railways want to get higher yields from affluent class by introducing this system. It is good to improve the financial position of Railways.'' | |

| Team TOI A Further Comment as a Reply to some comment of a viewer regarding this dynamic fare's impact on Common Man and Poor. 'Poor and middle class do not travel in AC trains. So it will not affect their position. This can affect only those who chose to travel in AC Classes. So no need to worry.'' |
