Reliance Jio's Free Cloud Storage Offer

 I think this is a good news for Jio Subscribers.

Reliance Jio is going to offer 100 GB of Free Cloud Storage to its customers from Deepavali, this year.

If this happens, you can store all your media and files on the Cloud Storage. It is a welcome news for all of us who don't have enough storage facilities on our mobile phones.

People like me may be able to buy premium storage Microsoft Office Family packages. Now, this Jio offer will be a Messiah for the Common Man.

My Comment on an article "Reliance Jio offers 100% cashback on Rs.399 recharge this Diwali; new telecom tariff war begins" published in the economictimes.com recently.


"It is a very good opportunity for the public to enjoy unlimited data and call charges for a continuous period of 84 days by recharging with only a sum of Rs.399 before 18th October 2017. 

The unending competition between the telecom service providers can further slash the prices. 

Jio's offer for existing customers, who recharge with this cashback offer now, will be applicable after the expiry of their current existing (balance) recharged period."

"So, one needs to recharge for Rs.399 to get the 84 days validity with 1 GB per day for 28 days in a month under the prepaid or post paid plans.

The previous offer prices of Rs309 and Rs349 have been restricted to only 56 days validity period."

A Comment on the offer of Free voice calls and Data to Jio members for one entire year

" This is a very Good news for all Jio users who recently got registered with Jio membership. All newly registered members are already getting 2GB data free. Now, they will be able to enjoy unlimited voice calls and data for one entire year up to 31st March 2018. This is a very wonderful offer by Mukesh Ambani, though it is aimed at surpassing its competitors in the industry.

But, one thing is not clear to me. I am unable to understand the point at serial no. 11 of this article which says that Jio prime members can get this at an introductory price of only Rs 303/month. If they need to pay, where is the free benefit?"

A Comment on Airtel services and their competition with Reliance Jio

My Comment on an article "Jio (Reliance) tough rival but Airtel well prepared to take it on" published in the economictimes.com Dated 20/09/2016.


"Airtel is a good service provider. But, there are some flaws in its services.

They should ensure that no tower problems are there. Still, many places suffer from distantly located towers which could not catch the signals quickly and properly. 

Airtel competitors take advantage of this weakness at those places to lure the customers."
