A Comment on aftermath of Tamil Nadu political scenario

My Comment on an article "SC verdict: What will now happen to Sasikala, Panneerselvam, and Tamil Nadu?" published in the economictimes.com Dated 14/02/2017.

"Tamil Nadu needs some change now. How long can they depend on political hierarchy? Some independent leaders with no family hierarchy should come out to lead and tackle the issues more rationally and honestly to the overall good of the people.

The Governor had asked Palanisamy to form govt and prove his majority within a week. But, can Palanisamy tackle the situation and lead the government in-disruptively?"

A Comment on banning of Jallikattu sports and practices

My Comment on an article "Jallikattu: Protests intensify as Modi dashes hopes of an ordinance" published in the economictimes.com Dated 19/01/2017.

"This is a matter of cultural and traditional practices and beliefs of the people. So, courts may not involve in such matters unless sued by a party for any loss or damage incurred by him or anybody.

If somebody appeals to court with some real problem of concern or loss suffered, then only the courts should involve in it. Even in such cases, they should assess the loss and impose fines or punishment to the violators. The entire practice should not be banned. They can set some guidelines to protect the concerned victims.

Otherwise, public and NGO organizations should discuss such things between themselves and arrive at some reasonable solution."

A Comment on Jayalalitha's arrest and Jail term

My Comment on a slide show article "Jayalalitha's legal battles" published in the economictimes.com Dated 28/09/2014 at 10:40 pm

"Very sad to see that people misuse power and indulge in graft cases and scams.

She was a great actor and must have earned much wealth during her cine life. Then why commit such crimes and get her good images tarnished?"

A Comment on Supreme Court staying the release of convicts by Jayalalitha's government

Your comment on the article ''Rajiv Gandhi assassination case: SC stays release of 4 convicts, issues notice to Tamil Nadu govt'' is now displayed ontimesofindia.com Dated 01/03/2014 at 4:22 pm.

''I hope for better and like to be of positive outlook and value human values.

I think that after serving for 20 years in jails, anyone should become tamed and all his criminal mentality changed to become a good citizen.

Moreover, he undergoes much strain and tension all these years and realizes his faults and worries for his acts and its effect on his life and family life. That is really a great kind of punishment for any person which is more severe than immediate death.

And there should be some moral lessons also in jails for reforming convicts which make them good citizens.''

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

A Comment on Banks flocking Sivaganga in Tamil Nadu

My comment on an article "Banks flock P.Chidambaram's Sivaganga in Tamil Nadu" published in the Economic Times dated 15/01/2014 at 11:14 am.

"It is good to open more and more Banks, branches and ATMs. But there should be no favouritism or partiality. They should be equally distributed all over India based on population and needs of customers. There should be one branch at each kilometre and one ATM at every half km to serve customers."

A comment on Tamil Nadu Police arresting US ship crew with weapons

Your comment on the article ''Tamil Nadu police arrest 35 crew members of detained US ship'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com Dated 18/10/2013 at 10:55 am.

''Full investigation should be done as to with what purpose they were carrying the arms and ammunition and from where to whom? It should be dealt with severely.''

If they are carrying the weapons for their own security then it can be tolerated, provided they are authorized to use them.
