	''No. Do not think like that please. It will not encourage criminals. They have already undergone so many years of  jail term. So nothing wrong in releasing them. Think of their families also who may have suffered so many years.''

	''It is a good decision on humanitarian grounds. The convicts have already undergone enough punishment. So, it is good that they are released by Jayalalitha government. I have already posted my opinion yesterday that they are better released.''

	''It is a good observation on the part of our Supreme Court.  Criminals should be punished according to the degree of crime, its impact on society as a whole, the degree of brutality in the procedure adopted by the convict and his overall character and intentions and all other things that may affect the victim and society also.  The punishment should be such that no other would be criminal may dare to do such heinous crime again. The punishment should also meet the satisfaction and removal of fear in the minds of public so that they can feel secured under our judicial system.''
