A Comment on Rail Budget 2016

My Comment on an article "Rail Budget 2016: Suresh Prabhu's 11 announcements to make common man happy" published in the economictimes.com Dated 25/02/2016.

"Very good initiatives announced by our Rail minister, Suresh Prabhu.

The Antyodaya Express with unreserved coaches can be much friendly for the poor common man, who may not be able to plan his journeys before-hand. Now, he can perform his journey instantly at any time upon his immediate requirements with no worry of accommodation. Deen Dayalu coaches also serve his purpose in the same manner.

The SMART coaches and introduction of TEJAS,Humsafar and UDAY services are all of much welcome as they provide many useful services in easing the travel with better amenities and entertainment to the passengers.

No increase in fares is another most glad and welcome step taken by the Railway Minister.

Suresh Prabhu must be commended for showering all these good favours on us and that too along with so many additional favours at no extra cost.

This is the greatest Rail Budget ever presented."

A Comment on provision and durability of fly ash houses to poor

My Comment on a news article "Government to provide housing in less than Rs.5 lacs: Nitin Gadkari" published on economictimes.com Dated 10/02/2016 at  10 pm.

"Happy to know that government is keen in providing housing to poor families at a very low cost of only Rs.5 lakh per house with an area of 450 sq.feet.

It is a very good proposal, if it really works out.

What is the durability of fly ash houses, I do not know. Can they bear cyclones, strong winds, floods and extreme heat temperatures?

You need to confirm all these points by testing the houses and then certify them as safe shelters."

A Comment on introduction of Anti-spitting Bill in Mumbai and Maharashtra

My comment on an article "Maharashtra government to table Anti-spitting bill in Budget session" published in the economic times.com Dated 07/02/2016 at 9.50 pm.

"It is a good idea if works out for ever sincerely.

Spitting at public places like in the corridors of buildings, on roads and at parking places is a very bad and ugly habit.

They do not even feel guilty of themselves committing such ugly actions.

I think it should be implemented not only in Maharashtra but in all other states also like U.P., Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and any other state where it has become a dirty habit."

A Comment on Zika threat being spread in rumors throughout India

Your comment on the article ''With no testing facility, doctors see Zika threat in India; Western Ghats, coasts at risk'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com Dated 01/02/2016 at 11:30 am.

''This is one more new name added to the already lengthy list of infections and fevers resulting from the bites of mosquitoes.

Instead of finding remedies for the diseases, the medical professionals are going on adding new names for diseases to frighten the already scary common man.''

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

A Comment on the acts of demonstrators and agitators causing injury to public

Your comment on the article ''Kapus in Andhra set 6 train bogies, 2 police stations ablaze for quota'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com dated 01/02/2016 at 11 am.

''This is one worst habit of people making demonstrations, agitations and strikes. They do not care for humanity.

They indulge in all sorts of violence and destruction. They do not even realise or want to realise that by indulging in such activities, they are harming their own brethren. People get killed or injured in such activities besides loss of huge property.

I think they should find some other means of displaying their anger and resent in a more gentle and peaceful manner.''

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

A Comment on UK's proposal to increase the minimum salary norm of IT employees for entry into UK

My comment on an article "UK proposes increasing minimum salary of IT employees entering UK  to 41,500 pounds published in the economictimes.com Dated 28/01/2016 at 2:50 pm.

"They are legitimate in making their policies and taking decisions to safeguard their local manpower. It should not be seen as anti-Indian or anti-IT industry policy.

So, whichever company may want to transfer their employees to UK or USA should bear the burden if they are interested in doing so for their company's overall benefits."

A Comment on odd-even rule and its positive impact on traffic management and productivity

My Comment on an article "The odd-even rule may have failed at pollution control, but scored in traffic management" published in the economictimes.com news dated 10/01/2016.

"It is a good start if it resulted in lesser traffic jams.

Even though the main purpose of odd-even vehicle movement rule was to control pollution, traffic jams are also a grave concern for public and for providers of essential services.

Lives of serious patients could be lost due to traffic jams. Further, time spent in traffic jams is a wastage of most of the productive time of people. Manpower gets lost in traffic jams and results in unfinished projects as much of the time was already lost and you can't complete your work by deadlines.

Furthermore, there is the mental torture that you suffer at traffic jams. It also affects your performance. You can't be so much productive as that which you could have performed with a fresh mind.

So, it has been a good scheme launched by Arvind Kejriwal and it should be continued and also followed by other cities and metros in all corners of India."

A comment on Aadhaar ID benefits and mobile phone availability to weaker sections

My comment on an article "Aadhaar ID saving Indian government about $1 billion per annum: World Bank" published in economictimes.com news dated 14/01/2016

"It's a real fact that Aadhaar number has created wonders.

The direct subsidy transfer is a good tool in controlling mishandling of funds as also in saving a lot of time. Digitalisation can help smooth flow of transactions without any tension and save both time and money.

But, it needs that every person should own a mobile phone. It is an obligation on the part of government also to make sure that every person among weaker sections of economy also possesses mobile phone to reach to their services. Those who may not afford to buy one should be provided with free mobile phones along with the knowledge how to operate them."

A Comment on Paytm team and their success

My comment on an article "How scientists based in Canada are vital cog in success of Paytm" published in the economictimes.com Dated 02/01/2016 at 3 pm.

"Vijay Shekhar Sharma has taken a very bold and adventurous step in founding Paytm.
It is great to see that he is accompanied by highly talented people in his lab at Toronto.

Paytm has gained much popularity in India in such a shorter period. The credit goes to him and his team of people.

It's really a great risky job detecting and managing the tricks of fraudsters who daily involve in newer malicious technologies to make money from their mischievous and fraudulent acts and transactions.

I wish him and his team best wishes in their successful management of the circumstances to build a healthy paytm business community."
