A further clarification regarding Railway Budget presentation

My Reply to a Comment by one reader regarding the need for presenting Railway Budget separately instead of clubbing it with General Budget.


My Reply:
"Railway budget is separated from General budget to make it more independant and to utilize all its revenue receipts for its own maintenance and development. 

This is a good advantage for railways. It need not depend on government for funds in normal business running."

A Comment on placing of T Bill in Lok Sabha after Budgets

My Comment on an article "Telangana Bill gets President's nod, to be tabled in Lok Sabha" published in the Economic Times dated 11/02/2014 at 10:40 pm.


"Good to put up the Rail budget and general budgets first so that these financial approvals can be obtained before the house gets stalled due to hot debates on T Bill."
