A Comment on Sony cutting jobs
My comment on an article "Sony cuts 5,000 jobs, exits PC business and tips $1 billion loss" published in the Economic Times dated 06/02/2014 at 1:08 pm.
"It is good that they are announcing the cuts one year ahead.
Employees have ample time to shift to other jobs of their liking in the mean time.
Otherwise, they would have been unable to opt and could have been forced to accept alternative employment on lesser terms."
