A Comment on rates being paid to freelancers

My Comment on an article "How to be a successful freelancer" published in the Economic Times dated 13/01/2014 at 13:14 pm.


"Very interesting and informative. 

But it tries to portray a rosy picture for freelancers even though narrates the hurdles and precautions to be taken. 

Most clients offer only 20 paise to 50 paise per word. So saying that you get 1 to 2 Rupees per general article is not correct. 
I am getting only 40 paise to 50 paise for finance articles at present."

 My Comment on an article "Dark days ahead? Delhi discoms warn of payment crisis if rates are not hiked' published in the Economic Times dated 10/01/2014 at 5:18 pm.


Whatever the case may be, auditing should be done and then only something can be concluded. 

They should cooperate in conducting the audit fairly and should not hinder it. The sooner the audit gets done, the better will be their claim. Till then the discoms should wait and cooperate with Kejriwal government.
