''It is a good development. "It is not lagging in fertility rate but controlling of fertility". Southern states have been more aware of the family planning techniques since the launch of the family planning program by late Smt. Indira Gandhi. Since then, they have been planning their families very successfully. But Northern Indian states did not accept that planning till recently. Only since a decade or two they have become conscious of the advantages of family planning.'' | |
