A Comment on the ban of women's entrance into Sabarimala Temple

My comment on the article ''How can you link periods to purity: SC on Sabarimala ban' published on timesofindia.com Dated 26/04/2016 at 11:20 am.

''I believe that women themselves will refrain from entering a temple while they are in the periods. There is no need for a complete ban. Banning the entire women from entering the temple because of some who might be in periods is not a wise decision. It is an insult to all the women. Further, by doing so, you are encroaching upon their fundamental rights of their right to worship and right to freedom.''

A Comment on offering of PCR vans by Delhi Police to women at night

Your comment on the article ''No cabs? PCR van hai na!'' is now displayed ontimesofindia.com Dated 21/12/2014 at 9:15 pm.

''Very great, generous service by Delhi Police.

The desperate girls/ women now need only to call a women helpline to procure the services of PCR van of Delhi Police in case of emergencies to reach their destinations during nights. The police will arrange for a cab or taxi or offer their own PCR van to carry them to destinations.

I hope similar services will be made available in all cities.''

A Comment on "Mission Toilet" to prevent rapes on women

Your comment on the article ''Mission toilet to curb rape'' is now displayed ontimesofindia.com Dated 16/06/2014 at 11 pm.

''A good decision and procedure adopted by DM Agra to facilitate women in villages attending their nature calls at deserted places.

Other states and all villages of India should follow this initiative and act accordingly to provide better sanitation facilities to people.

In addition to provision of toilets, the drainage system also should be improved by providing underground drainages all over the villages and towns. At most places, they are having mostly open drainages which smell badly and overflow during rainy seasons spreading diseases.''

A Comment on South Indian States' Fertility Rates.

Your comment on the article ''South India lags national fertility rate, slows population boom'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com Dated 28/03/2013 at 11:10 am.

''It is a good development. "It is not lagging in fertility rate but controlling of fertility".
Southern states have been more aware of the family planning techniques since the launch of the family planning program by late Smt. Indira Gandhi. Since then, they have been planning their families very successfully.
But Northern Indian states did not accept that planning till recently. Only since a decade or two they have become conscious of the advantages of family planning.''

A Comment on An Article on "Delhi Women- An Unsafe Lot"

My Comment on an article published @ instablogs.com on 12/03/2013 at 5:30 pm.

It is true that nothing much has changed in the mentality of criminals even after such huge massive protests launched by public with anguish over brutal rape of Delhi gang rape victim. The criminal mentality is so deep rooted that it is not at all afraid of public and laws. That is why I stressed the importance of women being armed with self protection techniques with out relying much on getting protection or help from laws in my article titled "International Womens Day and Security of Women" on my blog @thehindulifestyle.com

A Comment on Joshi's View that Western outlook about Women as Reason of Rape

Your comment on the article ''Western outlook about women reason for rape: Murli Manohar Joshi'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com dated 09/03/2013 at 3:10 pm.

''Very absurd statement. Does he mean all rapists are western cultured? Very silly!!! Rapes are equally committed in urban cities and rural villages also. Where does western culture and weaker sex arise in the midst?'' It is the weakness and cruel mentality of rapist that accounts for it.

Your comment on the article ''96% women feel unsafe after sunset in Delhi: Survey'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com dated 08/03/2013 at 10:35 am.

''Our Government is boasting of so many schemes and enactments to the upliftment and welfare of women on this " Womens Day ". Inspite of all these, there is so much unsecurity and violence against women that too in our national capital which is supposed to be the centre for most civilised people!!! What an irony it is.''

A Comment on An Article showcasing Atrocities on Women

MY Comment on an article titled " The Story of Women " depicting atrocities on women published at Speakingtree.in on dated 13/02/2013.

A heart throbbing narration. Men can go to such extreme atrocities like the case with the second example you have narrated is very shocking. Even an animal may not go to that extreme. The women should safe guard themselves in such cases. The relatives of man may not help in such happenings. So she should protect her self by keeping him away at such moments. If it requires, she can beat him also on such occasions so that he will never dare to do such acts again.

A comment on An Article "TV Channels to be sensitised on Women Depiction

Your comment on the article ''TV channels' creative teams to be sensitised on women depiction'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com dated 07/02/2013 at 5:50 pm.
''A good move being taken. Depiction of crimes on TV serials has become horrific either on women or men. They are touching too much extreme conditions. It depicts to how far extent can the villainous nature of thinking of the writers and serial producing team could reach. It is very horrific to see such scenes on TV. There should be a limit in every thing. Simply for catching trps they can't do whatever they wish. Such things throw a bad effect on the society.''

A Comment on BJP's Kailash Vijayvargiya's Remark citing Sita's Lakshman Rekha crossing as Example for Crimes on Women

Your comment on the article ''Women will be punished like Sita if they cross their limits: BJP's Kailash Vijayvargiya'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com dated 04/01/2013 at 10:40 pm.

My Comment:
''His comment is degrading Sita. The fact is that the person kidnapping her was cruel, coward and immoral and took her by stealth when no male was present there to save her. So, it is the mentality of the person making the crime, which is to be found guilt and not the person on whom the crime was done.''

A Comment on Banning Women From Use of Mobile Phones by Village Panchayat in Patna

Your comment on the article ''Patna village bans women from using mobiles'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com dated 04/12/2012 at 4:45 pm

My Comment:
''Very strange! How can the panchayat issue such orders restricting the fundamental rights of people. It is mere oppression of women by men. This act of the panchayat should be treated as a crime and legal action should be taken over them. How can they restrict women from communicating with their friends and relatives on cell phones? Are they not equal to men in enjoying their fundamental rights?''
