A Comment on the Tussle Between Government and Reserve Bank of India

My Comment on the ongoing rift between the co-ordination of the approaches being followed by RBI and the Government. 


"The Government and the Central Bank need to keep aside their differences and work for the betterment of the country's economy.

No one is superior or inferior to the other. 

Both are just like the two wheels of the same vehicle. If one goes astray, the whole vehicle will collapse. 

So, do not indulge in actions that may collapse our economy."

A Comment on Population of China and India

My Comment on an article "At 1.32 billion, India's population may have overtaken China's" published in the economictimes.com Dated 26/05/2017.


"The above article is based on a report published in The Guardian quoting statements of a Chinese Academic, Yi Fuxian, who claims that Chinese population has been overestimated by 90 million and the actual population as in 2016 would not be more than 1.29 billion." 

"But, we have always been taught through established sources that China is the most populated country in the world and India stands next to it with a wide gap. 

Both India and China adapted to family planning measures and so any decrease in China's growth rate must be corresponding to the decrease in growth rate of India also. Therefore, the statements in this article cannot be accepted. Further, it is base only on the assumptions of one Chinese academic and not proved yet.

We may assume that in a far off future, our population may exceed China's population if China becomes more strict in this issue of population control and if India does not take proper steps."

A Comment on Tension in Indo-US ties due to H-1B visas

"True. The concerned people should look at the reality of this issue rather than just indulging in undue suspicions and misunderstandings of the reality and the underlying problems causing job losses to their community (at the cost of foreigners as they see it). 

I believe the American professional are also very much skilled and sincere in their work and so should find peaceful and other smart ways of securing top jobs and retaining their positions. 

Suspicion leads to dislike and hate. Love and understanding lead to nobility, hospitality, and perfection." 

A Comment on the launching of India's regional flights at Rs.2500 per hour fare

My Comment on an article "India's first regional flight at Rs.2500 per hour fare may take off next year" published in the economictimes.com Dated 23/10/2016.

"I don't consider this scheme to be any great thing. 

There have been many occasions, which are still practiced by many airlines, who charged Rs.2,500 or even a bit less amount for Hyd to Bangalore or Hyd to Chennai travel and vice-versa. So, this is not any new thing. 

Further, it will not make travel easy or affordable to a common man for many other facts.

One has to spend 3 or 4 hours extra to reach the airports at the starting point and at the destination point and, he incurs at least Rs.1,000 towards cab or auto charges for the purpose."

A Comment on a Chinese paper depicting Indians as having low morals and spoilt

"Before talking about India, they should look at their own morality and ethics. 

They break all international laws in supporting Pakistan and others. 

They are spread all over India doing their various businesses and tell Indians should not leave India! One rule for themselves and another for India? 

The only thing is they are afraid India will become powerful. So, they are trying all means to demoralize India and Indians."

A Comment on India reaching the stage of No-Power-Deficit in 2016-17

"It is a good news if it is reliable. 

Surplus regions can supply power to the other places that are in shortage of power so that every town and village gets power. But, you should access the correct position of every village and town and not rely only on the data collected from cities. Because sample surveys may lead to a wrong assessment of the position."

China's economic slowdown and effects on India.

"True. China has been always our trade partner and any economic slowdown in China will definitely affect our economy also. 

We import so many goods from China which are sold in China Bazaars all over the country, mostly cheap electronic goods and other commodities. 

Saying that their economy does not affect us is absurd. We partner in science and technology also and all these areas get affected."

A Comment on recent improvements in Ease of doing Business in India

"Seems there has been much development in easing of doing business now. 

Provisions and facilities for filing all bills, payments and taxes online has eased much tensions of the public. Now, there is no need for waiting in long queues. Every kind of business can be done at the press of keyboard at one's own convenience.

It is glad to see that many states have emerged with more or less better facilities for doing business. Gujarat has developed a lot within a shorter span of time. Andhra Pradesh has also been business friendly since many years."

A Comment on solving of issues between China and India by Modi

"Our PM Narendra Modi has made it clear that we want to ease our relationships with China through mutual understanding and cooperation efforts. 

Everything needs to be discussed without any bias and clear the misunderstandings lying between both countries.

Both of us need to come to some understanding and solve the problems once for ever. There should be no further complaints from either side in future, once it is agreed upon now."

A Comment on protesters finding fault at Army and Police

"It is very pitiful to see that Army and Police are not allowed to perform their duties by these protesters in all corners of the country. Same is the case in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh also. 

If police are not allowed to carry out their duties in protecting our country from militants and miscreants, how can there be security in the country? 

How to prevent crimes and terror attacks? They should be given full freedom and power to protect us."

"Internet service providers should ensure safe browsing to the users of their services. They need to protect them from third party hackers hacking the apps and transferring or displaying their prohibited content on the users' screens. 

This can be done through protected mediums like routers, modems that are supplied and monitored by the service providers while installing services."

A Comment on Net Neutrality and On-line Protection

My comment on an article "1.5 lakhs and counting: India lodges one of its biggest online protests over net neutrality" published in the economictimes.com Dated 15/04/2015 at 3 pm. 


"I hope net neutrality is about offering services at same par value to all users, irrespective of the service providing company. All service providers should charge the same rates per GB data used and they should not control whatever usage you may consume as you will be paying them the bill amount calculated according to data usage.

But one problem should be controlled about unwarranted hackers intruding and presenting their ads and videos on your pages while you are browsing on net. This problem should be addressed by the telecom providers which should be their primary responsibility."

"Very interesting and happy news. Facilities like selecting own choice of food during journey, SMS alerts regarding delays and late arrivals of trains, e-booking of tickets and quick buying facility of unreserved tickets, more cleanliness of trains and stations will make journey more happier than before. 

It would have been better if more bogies are introduced to cater to the swelling crowds in unreserved compartments. Presently they have to travel occupying the toilets.

All these need to be efficiently monitored with better supervision and control."

A Comment on a survey revealing increase in per capita income by 10%

"May be good news as a whole. 

But what are the real figures from a common man point of view? 

The figures stated in this article are average of highest income groups and lowest income groups. 

So, the lowest income people may not be still in a good position. They may be getting very low income unable to keep them relieved from hunger and shelter. So, until the lowest income of a low class man is not sufficient enough, you can't generalise that we are good economically."

Precautions are always good.

"Very great goals and dreams! 

$20 trillion economy means to excel US economy or to equal with it. May be too much expectation. 

If we set this target, we may at least reach 10 trillion with much good exercise.


It requires very strict spending, great and efficient administration, full vigilance and smart control at each corner and continuous research along with developing utmost skills and maximum output with least inputs."

With our government becoming more liberal towards the policy of FDI and FII and other connected relaxations in trade relations and laws, the investors will definitely see India as a great opportunity for their investments and markets. 

If RBI also enters the field by adopting suitable monetary policies and attractive interest rates, everything will be great for our industrialization and economic development operations."
