A Comment on Snapdeal CEO slapped with FIR for selling medicines online

My Comment on an article "Maharashtra FDA files FIR against Snapdeal CEO" published in the timesofindia.com Dated 01/05/2015 at 4:30 pm.

"Good step taken by government.

How can they sell drugs like other commodities? I wonder how they got the idea. Don't they know it requires licence to sell medicines?

Not only this. Some medical shops sell medicines without asking for the prescription slip. Simple ordinary drugs for headache, pain or cold and fever can be tolerated. But antidepressants and risky drugs should not be sold without prescription slip.

Concerned authorities should issue stern warnings to the medical shops to demand prescriptions for selling any drugs."
