My Comment on an article "Bharat Mala: PM Narendra Modi's planned Rs.14,000 crore road from Gujarat to Mizoram" published in the economictimes.com Dated 02/05/2015 at 2:50 pm.
"Appears to be a great plan. Connecting people and places through construction of roads is a good thing.
It will facilitate more human relationships and trade between farthest places.
But, the amount spent is not what appeals. Does it not seem to be a huge amount?
14,000 crores is too much. Even if you build 14,000 miles of road with this amount, it will come to one crore rupees per one mile of road. Too much cost. Isn't it?"
