A Comment on PM Modi's question: Why can't Google be made in India?

My Comment on an article "PM Modi launches Digital India campaign; asks why can't Google be made in India" published in economictimes.com Dated 04/07/2015 at 2:40 pm.

"One may be thinking talking and dreaming is easy.

But you should accept it will lead to action. Dreams make us think and thinking leads to talking and discussing things. Unless you discuss, you can't get clear ideas. And clear ideas combined with some determination to achieve something will definitely lead to action.

So it is good to see our PM is thinking about all these things and prompting public discussions. So, our brain power can be invested in realising these dreams successfully when all of us contribute to it."

A Comment on Google selling Motorola at $2.9 bn to Lenovo

My Comment on an article "Google sells Motorola to Lenovo for $2.9 billion after paying $12.5 billion to buy it" published in the Economic Times dated 30/01/2014 at 5:35 pm.

"It is a good tactics of Google selling Motorola to Lenovo at such lower cost and retaining still billions worth of patents.

It will use those patents with prudence and make big profits in long run.

So nothing much to worry for Google or their fans. Better say they have got rid of some nuisance creating product."

A Comment on Google services outage around the world

Your comment on the article ''Google fixes Gmail after brief outage around the world'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com Dated 25/01/2014 at 12:40 pm.

''We in HYderabad, India were experiencing the slow loading of google related sites for 3,4 days continuously.

Gmail sidebar was only half loaded on 3 days. Google plus and Youtube, etc. also were very slow. Now, today it is quite Okay.

But one thing I notice is, the clock time is showing global standard time when I switch on the computer since 3 days and I had to synchronize it with IST.

One more thing is, my profile picture and other buttons of gmail, apps are not appearing on the right hand side of google page since 2, 3 days.''

A Comment on Google eating into wikipedia page views

MY Comment on an article "Google eating into wikipedia page views?" published in the Economic Times Dated 20/01/2014 at 11:59 am.

"I do not think so.

Wikipedia is still enjoying greater viewership.

Even though google is giving you instant data in your page, you may have to refer to wikipedia content for detailed information on any subject as it collects information from various links and sources."

A Comment on Yahoo's CEO Marissa Mayer

My Comment on an article "Has CEO Marissa Mayer failed to turn Yahoo around?" published in the EConomic Times dated 19/01/2014 at 10:39 pm.

"She is doing her best to lead Yahoo forward.

But Google and Facebook are more popular and are very far away in reach.

Yahoo is good in US and Asian countries of Japan and China. It is not so much popular in India."

A Comment on Google buying Nest for 3.2 billion dollars

My Comment on an article "Google buys Nest for $3.2 billion" published in the Economic Times Dated 14/01/2014 at 12:35 pm.

"Google is really great and brilliant. It is quickly grabbing all fields of human life and making people dependent on them for everything. Without google, we may become helpless in managing our things."

A Comment on launching of Google Street View and Wonobo.com

Your comment on the article ''Who needs Google Street View? Indian brothers launch rival service Wonobo'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com Dated 15/10/2013 at 5:50 pm.

''Our government must ensure that no sensitive areas or important places and markets and buildings, etc. are pictured and put on the website with its details and location.

Security of our country, its people and places is more important than getting publicity of our streets and cities on internet. Wrong people may use these details for offensive purposes.''

''Very good idea. People all over the world using internet will come to know the great archaeological treasure and history of our Indian heritage through this joint venture.
