A further comment on Russia's presence at G-20

My reply to another comment posted by a reader viewing my comment on the article "Russia to G-20: We are here, so are our warships" published in economictimes.com dated 15/11/2014 at 10:30 am.

The viewer Rajeev Pandey replied to me something like this:

'...........There is every sign of a new cold war now emanating of oil crash. It has nothing to with surplus or low demand, but everything to do with Russia & Venezuela and the US & allies would finish them economically.................' 

I replied to him as follows:-

"Sorry. But I don't like imagining things like that. When it happens, then think of solutions. 

If something is not in your hands, you can do nothing inspite of your thousand efforts. And, if something is there that can be done, then you can do great things with that some thing. 

So, be calm and wait and see."

My comment on an article "Russia to G-20: We are here. So are our warships" published in the economictimes.com dated 14/11/2014 at 4:30 pm.


"The G-20 leaders should focus their attention on improving the economic conditions of the world and maintaining peace and security rather than landing into personal disputes between any countries or some particular countries. 

They should discuss on problems like mutual trade relations and developmental projects to improve economy and stabilise peace and security among member countries."

A Comment on Indian connection to First Crimean War

My Comment on an article "First Crimean War: The Indian connection & parallels with current conflict" published in the Economic Times Dated 09/03/2014 at 12:38 pm. 


"Great revelations made. 

Very interesting to learn old facts. 

British reached India all through their long journey and established their empire in the guise of trade and business. Russians lobbied but could not succeed. 

But, in reality, our trading relations were more with Russia than Europe in those days."

A Comment on Russian troops deployed in Ukraine

My Comment on an article "Russia's Vladimir Putin orders troops in military exercise back to base" published in the Economic Times dated 04/03/2014 at 2:32 pm.


"In the name of providing safety to their men in Ukraine and particularly in Crimea region, there is possibility of harming their own men. 

So it is better to employ some peaceful means of solving the problem instead of sending troops to Ukraine."

	''The cited reasons should not hinder the holding of Rock festival which is a show of culture and music of our both countries. You could manage the timings so that people can attend both the festival and also the Chapel. Clash with taxi people should be controlled by the administration and peace maintained for the organisation of the festival somehow.''

	''Very horrible. Why these bombers perform such wicked acts not caring even for their lives? Can their souls rest in peace after such heinous crimes? Why do their families allow them to do so? Can they be happy with the money that they get after losing their family member? Very selfish and wicked mentality.''
