A Comment on Indian Companies betting on Defence sector recently

My comment on an article "Indian companies bet on defence sector; pour in billions to manufacture guns, ships & tanks" published in the Economic times.com dated 23/08/2014 at 10:30 pm.


"It is better that our business men understood the need for defence equipments to safeguard our country and thereby contribute to economic development and stability..

 We should be able to be equal with China in our arms produce. Then only we can protect our country from possible attacks and border violations and prevent terrorist attacks."

	''I think there is no use in entering into such understandings and commitments on paper. Unless and until the Chinese troops and infiltrators do not accept our LAC and honour our bona fide claims of our territories, the disputes go on continuing and clashes and infiltrations continue to take place. They should be mentally prepared to stop all this and maintain peaceful attitude.''

Your comment on the article ''Pakistan helping terrorists to enter our territory: Sushilkumar Shinde'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com.

''It is not new. Terrorists have always been infiltrating into our country through Pakistan border. But their government does not endorse it. So there is no point in asserting the same thing again and again. Instead of mere accusations, our government should take drastic steps to prevent their infiltration and to combat them immediately if unavoidable. You please take the action direct and not simply act as a reporter of the situation. Because the actual situation is already known to we common man. So instead of telling the common man that there is infiltration of terrorists through some route, please tell us what you are going to do with the situation and chalk out the strategy and assure the people there is nothing to worry.''
