A Comment on why investors look at safer investments like bank FD or KVP

My Comment on an article "What your bank FD, KVP can do in 8 years, these stocks did in 3 years" published in economictimes.com on 12/06/2016 at 4:50 pm.


"Nifty or NSE, stocks are always a good bet than FDs and KVPs. But,they involve great risks as well. 

It can, sometimes, turn out to be gambling with more zeal. 
Investors need to be smart and proficient and possess the capacity to bear in case of losses. 

That's why most people look at safer means of investment rather than bear a loss." 

A Comment on Railway Budget 2014

My Comment on an article "Railway's vote on account 2014: Why investors are disappointed?"
published in the Economic Times Dated 12/02/2014 at 4:35 pm. 


"It is good in the sense that there is no proposal to hike passenger fares or freight rates. 

Further FDI has been enabled to enter Railways which should be welcome. 

Some steps like checking out empty carriage of wagons and introduction of more bio-toilets and restaurants are useful for passengers."

A Comment on Where investors can park their money

My Comment on an article "Markets look directionless: Here's where investors can park their money" published in the Economic Times dated 04/02/2014 at 10:30 pm.


"I do not see markets sinking. They are trading good with some variations of ups and downs. 

Nothing bad. 20,000 sensex is okay and Nifty at 6,000 not bad. Only they are going up and down. 

It is good to bet on pharma companies and some banks like Axis, ICICI and Gas shares, etc. in present scenario."
