Natural calamities are just like other instruments of Death. Death comes to every body. It has no disparity. It comes through different means. One such means is natural disaster. So you can't question it. Death has to take place. Whether it is through some illness, accident, natural disaster or any other means. There is no question of innocent people being killed. It is performing its duty according to predetermined destiny of the person that is killed. This fact has been emphasized here by Meena Omji .

"A very nice article. We always need to remember God because we are nothing without him. Every action that we perform, we are performing because God prompts us to do so. Without his will we can not lift even a needle. All that we think great of ourselves and boast to others that I can do this and I can do that is all because of God is wishing and prompting us to act. We must remember him just like you are remembering your mother or father in times of helplessness."

"First of all, every one should know that God has taken the form of Rama with some limitations. He wanted to teach the common man how to live a good and pious life. For this purpose, he behaved like a common man with all emotions and limitations. Even though he was aware of all his supernatural and divinely powers, he practiced the simple life of a good king and and performed all his duties with human consciousness. He never displayed his divinity. We are forgetting this point and unnecessarily blaming God."

But most of us get flown by our momentary emotions like ego, anger, desire, etc. Escaping these and becoming aware of our consciousness requires our will power. This will power is missing in most of us. Once we get strong enough to listen to our consciousness, we realize how foolish we have been all this period."
