A Comment on useful tips for buying Gold this Dhanteras

My Comment on an article "Opt for these smart ways to buy Gold this Dhanteras" published in the economictimes.com Dated 20/10/2014 at 6 pm.

"A very useful guide for Gold buyers on this Dhanteras or at any time. The writer has good some smart valuable advice.

Buy standard gold with hallmark or BIS certification.

Do not invest on large designs. Gold jewellery is best at as little design as possible as it will retain your original cost to much extent.

Buying in small instalments is also a great advice for investors."

A Comment on Gold turning out inauspicious on Akshaya Trtiya

My Comment on an article "Akshaya trithiya turns inauspicious for Gold" published in the Economic Times dated 02/05/2014.

"It is true. Gold is not worthy to be invested as the prices will come down and you suffer loss.

If sentiments do not allow, buy a token value of gold and invest the rest of the amount in better yield giving options."

A Comment on which is best bet: Gold, equities or deposits?

My Comment on an article "Gold, equities or deposits? Which is best bet for 2014?" published in the Economic Times dated 16/02/2014 at 12:40 pm.

"A good article.

Do not invest in gold as gold is unlikely to give any positive results. It's price can only decrease, but not increase.

So it is best to invest in Fixed Deposits and Equity Funds.

Deposits give you a stable fixed income of 9-10%. Equities give fluctuating returns which can be more than Deposits. But there is the risk factor in equities."

A Comment on limiting of Gold purchases for marriages

My comment on an article "80 gm gold limit for weddings?" published in the Economic Times dated 20/01/2014 at 11:50 am.

"It is a good decision to curb gold consumption at marriages.

Gold consumption should be controlled as far as possible to bring down prices and also improve our economy."

A Comment on Silver doing better than Gold

My Comment on an article "Gold will rally, but silver will do better: Jim Rogers" published in the Economic Times Dated 18/01/2014 at 5:12 pm.

It is better that people do not buy gold unless there is urgency like marriage requirements. Gold and silver prices are reeling very high and there is no scope of earning by betting on them. Better invest on other high yielding stocks.

A Comment on easing of Gold import curbs

My comment on an article "Government considers easing Gold import curbs" published in the Economic Times Dated 06/01/2014 at 10:40 pm.

"Easing of import curbs will bring down the prices of gold to some extent as there will be much supply.

Added to this will be lowering of duties which is good for gold buyers."
