"Why should the government and courts allow it at all - these live-in-relationships? 

They should not be allowed to live like that without marriage. It can not be justified for the good of society."

My Comment on an article "Narendra Modi government shelves anti-tobacco bill" published in the economictimes.com Dated 4/12/2014 at 3:50 pm. 


"Not introducing the bill amounts to supporting the production of tobacco. 

Knowingly you are giving shelter to tobacco producers and traders so that they can continue in deteriorating the health of our people. 

All these bad products of tobacco, alcohol should be entirely banned from being produced or sold. They make people lose their body and mind and affects the social and economical growth of our people, mostly youngsters. 

Benefits and advantages of a few should not be allowed to destroy the health and economy of majority of our country."

"The purpose of helping poor in savings will not be solved with this KVP if it doubles the amount in 100 months. 

The amount invested need to be doubled at least in 72 months if not in 60 months. 

The maximum ceiling for doubling the amount can be fixed if government wants to control the investment by (bona fide) investors so that affluent class will not reap the benefits."

A Comment on imposing Hindi as social networking language

"Each state government should be free to take decisions on their own keeping in mind the interests of their people. 

Central government should not impose anything on them without their acceptance. 

Each state has its own official language. Hindi and English are only supplementary."

A Comment on government refusing to link tax exemptions and slabs

My Comment in reply to a commenter who expressed his view that I am government employee and gathered much wealth as bribe. 


"Don't be foolish and silly. Whoever comments unbiased should not be considered as an antagonist. 

This is a very bad mentality of some people. They use abusive words and attacking words as if they are the only person concerned for the welfare of public and all others are enemies. 

Be civilized and use some brain in understanding others' words. I was a poorly paid private employee and did not save even a penny for my sons. I am dependant on them now."

"Is it not a double benefit to the taxpayer? If you link inflation index with tax slabs and minimum exemption limits and accordingly apply differential slab applications for calculating the tax, it will be a double rebate to the taxpayer: once as an increased salary and again as an additional inflation rebate. 

I do not think it to be reasonable from the point of Tax Department."

	''Good steps taken by government. Beggars all over India should be provided like treatment with suitable projects by state governments. "Nine cylinders should be enough in a year as each cylinder gives 36 days on an average consumption. 

But one should have the double bottle connection for this purpose. Then only they can utilise full cylinder."

"Easing of import curbs will bring down the prices of gold to some extent as there will be much supply.

My Reply:
How do you say CNG price rise is because of AAP politics? AAP is not in government. It will take powers on 28/12/2013. Another point is AAP was trying to stop the price rise. It will now take up the matter with center after formation of government. It already is promising to deal with the matter and restore the prices.

This is why prise rose. a prior signal that incompetence govt coming. 700 ltr free water and 50% power tariff cut is not solution to aam admi. AAP has no political base knowledge to manage the state.AAP does not have any new political agenda other hand as an activist anna did lokpal/anti-corruption.

My Reply:
First, let us give AAP some time and see what they do. After that, we will have a lot of time discuss or blame them. But till then, wait and see.

	''Yes. It should not be made compulsory for receiving the benefits. It is just like compelling people to do a favour for obtaining some benefit. Most people do not have Aadhar. I think only 30% are holding aadhar till now. So majority people are deprived of the subsidy. Government should reconsider its decision and cover all people for granting the subsidy of LPG which is presently enjoyed by a few people only. Whoever have not been credited with the subsidy to their bank accounts should be allowed the benefits with retrospective effect if Government thinks of doing justice to people.''

	''These kind of schemes need to be abolished. It is very irrational to supply such essential commodities at such nominal prices. There should be some justice in the thinking mentality of our government and political leaders. Burdening the middle class people and taxpayers with such schemes is gross injustice. Instead, the prices of essential commodities need to be lowered so as to be in reach of all classes of people. Bring down the rice price to Rs.30/- per kg. and other dire necessities also to cheaper rates to some extent. If you want to show sympathy to poor class you can provide these things utmost at 50% prices but not lower than that.''

	''It is a well known fact that alcohol and tobacco develop various diseases in people. But they are being allowed to be sold by government. They issue licence for running liquor shops, they promote sale of cigarettes by putting an advertisement that cigarette smoking is injurious to health. Very funny things! People go on consuming these things as long as they are available to them. Because they give them some temporary relief and enjoyment and make them feel free from responsibilities and challenges of life. As they have no guts to face realities, they adopt to these things and try to get rid from them. Our health departments and administration should do some thing to provide a healthier environment. Tobacco and liquor should be banned totally and punishments imposed on both sellers and consumers of these items.''
