Indian Women Cricket Team Scripted History at Rajkot on Mattu Pongal Day 2025

Hats off to Smriti Mandhana and Pratika Rawal !!! 

Our Women's Cricket Team has made our country proud by scripting a new world record of the highest score in ODI Cricket history surpassing their own records and that of the Men's Cricket Team records.

It was the third ODI match against Ireland at Rajkot on 15th January 2025, a festive season. Our team set a record score of 435 for 5 wickets against Ireland's score of 131 all out. Thus, our team clinched the series by 3-0 wins.

A quick century by Smriti Mandhana scoring 135 in 80 balls and another century by Pratika Rawal (154 in 129 balls) contributed to this huge score of 435/5, drawing applause from all sides.

Mohammed Siraj's Amazing Catch at Kanpur Stadium - India vs Bangladesh Test Match

Kudos, Mohammed Siraj! 

What a stunning catch by Mohammed Siraj! See this mind-blowing feat of his on the 4th Day of the 2nd Test against Bangladesh today (30th September 2024). The victim batsman is Shakib Al Hasan, playing his last but one match before he retires from Test Cricket.

Nobody ever expected that he would succeed in holding the catch as the ball was flying high away from him while he was backstepping to hold the catch. He had to perform aerobic/athletic movements of his entire body and limbs while trying to hold the ball. He stretched his entire body and hands backward and finally succeeded in holding the catch. His back must have been aching in doing so. But he was happy in performing this miraculous feat.

"Congrats to Chris Gayle of West Indies for his setting a world record of first ever double century in a world cup match by scoring 215 runs  from 147 balls with sixteen sixes and 10 fours.

He also set the record for highest partnership of 372 runs for the second wicket with his partner Marlon Samuels.

He equalled the record of making most sixes of 16 at par with Rohit Sharma of India and AB de Villiers of South Africa."

kanwarjit: it is a fake poll. nobody even knows sachin in the parts of the world where they don't play cricket. i find it very difficult to admire people about whom i know very little


My Reply: I do not think so. Sachin Tendulkar is known all over as he has received so much coverage in all news papers and media in every corner of the world.
