A further comment on deliberately allowing Rupee to fall

Another reply by me to a comment on the article "Did the Indian government deliberately allow the rupee to fall?" published on 21/02/2014 at 3:34 pm.

"Petro products will naturally increase, as we are dependent on imports of petroleum products.

That is why the rates are increasing frequently.

Unless we find some alternative source, it will be a big problem for our economy.

We should try to be self sufficient as far as possible in all fields, if economy is to improve."

A Comment on Advertising Rates paid to Channels and Inflation

My comment on an article in the economictimes.com Dated 6/11/2013 at 9:45 pm.

This also is one of the reasons for price inflation.

Advertisers pay heavy amounts for advertising their products and the same will get included in the prices of the commodities along with the making cost of the ad film.

This is very gross injustice on the part of governments, TV channels and business firms. Ultimately they are overburdening the poor common man with all costs. And they say Rs.30/- per day income is enough for feeding a person. What an irony!!!

A Comment on Prices of Onions and Consumption

Your comment on the article ''Onion price stays high despite wholesale dip'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com Dated 20/09/2013 at 5:35 pm.

''Why do people purchase onions at such high prices?

Can't they go without onions for some period?
We are not using onions at all since more than 6 months.

Why can't you go without them for only some days till prices fall down?''

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

A Comment on Food Security Bill

Your comment on the article ''Govt defers promulgation of ordinance on Food Security Bill'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com dated 13/06/2013 at 4:56 pm.

''Why not pass a bill for controlling the prices of essential commodities like rice, wheat, Dal, vegetables, milk etc.?

Middle class people can get a great relief if this is done instead of providing 5 kg.of rice at Re.1 to 3. This scheme will further increase the prices of market prices and increase burden on them.''
