A Comment on singling out Sardar Patel to associate with Mahatma Gandhi

Your comment on the article ''PM says Mahatma Gandhi incomplete without Sardar Patel, also rakes up 1984 anti-Sikh violence'' is now displayed ontimesofindia.com Dated 31/10/2014 at 2:35 pm.

''Mahatma Gandhi and Patel are okay.

But there are so many other leaders, who are also equally important. None of them are lesser in contributing to our Independence and unity.

Singling out Patel ji as more important is doing injustice to the others, as per my opinion.''

A Comment on Nokia plant closure at Sriperumbudur, Chennai

Your comment on the article ''Nokia employees at Sriperumbudur to get severance package of Rs 7.5 lakh'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com Dated 31/10/2014 at 2:15 pm.

''A very sad plight of the staff of Nokia at Chennai plant.

I do not understand why Microsoft deserted those people by allowing the plant's closure.

It was a very profitable unit of Nokia for so many years making good profits.

The recent developments of tax notices to the old management against that plant should not have been met out this way by deserting the workers.

Microsoft could have acquired it and made good things.''

A Comment on Modi Government's mantras to boost manufacturing

My comment on an article "The three mantras to boost manufacturing: simplify, reduce & hasten" published in the economictimes.com dated 30/10/2014 at 5:30 pm.

"It is true that entire system needs some revamp.

Any business should focus on supply and demand factors. They should try to bridge the gap between supply and demand.

And supply can be possible when you are able to produce the required quantities hassle freely. Hassle free environment requires both Investment and resources of other manufacturing agents in terms of raw materials , labour, fuel etc.

All these things need coordination and free flow. This is possible when all the agencies come together- whether government departments or private participants."

A Comment on Modi government's drive towards austerity in spending

Your comment on the article ''Modi govt's austerity drive: No meetings at 5-star hotels, no first class air travel'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com Dated 30/10/2014 at 3:40 pm.

''It is a good step keeping in view of the financial position of our country.

A small deduction in expenses through austerity can contribute much to the betterment of our economic position.

Simple austerity measures should be followed by everybody in all spheres of life, say, let it be in money matters, power consumption, fuel consumption or water consumption. Any savings can contribute a lot to the public welfare in the long run.''

A Comment on High Court upholding ban on liquor in Kerala State

Your comment on the article ''Blow to Kerala bar owners, HC upholds ban on liquor in the state'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com Dated 30/10/2014 at 3:30 pm.

''A great decision by the High Court.

Whether it was done with political reasons or otherwise, the Kerala state government has done a good job by limiting sale of alcohol.

As per my personal insight it should be banned 100% in all the states for the benefit of public.

Public may be consuming alcohol to get relief from tensions or for any excuses. But it is very harmful to them and their families. It deteriorates their health as well as makes them financially bankrupt.''

A Comment on Black Money stash and Supreme Court order

Your comment on the article ''Black money: SC order may impact other tax treaties'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com Dated 29/10/2014 at 11 am.

''Our government's primary responsibility is to our citizens and our courts only. Foreign matters are secondary.

So, firstly, the government should disclose all available information regarding black money hoardings.

It should reveal names boldly and then, if thinks fit, request the courts to keep it secret till completion of legal formalities.

But, whatever the case may be, the black money should be brought back to government treasury and used for the betterment of our public.''

A Comment on India offering defence boost to Vietnam ignoring China

Your comment on the article ''India ignores China's frown, offers defence boost to Vietnam'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com Dated 29/10/2014 at 10:45 am.

''Very bold and authoritarian step taken by our PM Narendra Modi.

It should be a signal to the Chinese government that India will not remain submissive to their threats. The disputed waters issue should be solved through negotiations and not by threats and warnings from China.

India and Vietnam coming together, and already Japan is there, to make China realise that they should not cross their limits.

We should go ahead in our projects that contribute not only to our personal interests but to global economy and well being.''

A Comment on PM office internet speed being 34 Mbps

Your comment on the article ''Guess the internet speed at Prime Minister's Office?'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com Dated 27/10/2014 at 12:30 pm.

''Very great thing. Getting 34 Mbps is to be very lucky.

And our PM is naturally lucky to be PM and he can therefore get 34 Mbps speed.

But our common man internet speed is anywhere between 6 to 8 Mbps; not more than that.

At present I tested my net speed and it shows Bandwidth speed at 1.67 Mbps. Is it okay?''
