My Comment on an article "Will Modi magic work to make India see sharper-than-expected recovery?" published in the Economic Times dated 12/06/2014 at 3:16 pm.
"One thing to concentrate is to evolve alternate sources of irrigation instead of depending on monsoons.
Our new government should look at this aspect very seriously. Proper utilisation of river and canal waters should be there.
Much water goes in wastage. That wasted water can be harvested through proper channelisation and utilised in farming. Other techniques like utilisation of sea waters for agriculture should be thought upon."
