"It is a surprise decision of Dhoni as nobody expected his retirement so early.
His decision to retire from international cricket with immediate effect is a sad outcome for his fans both in India and abroad.
He has been a very great captain with splendid performances of his team under his captaincy. He is a good administrator and deserves accolades. Wish him best of luck."

"Very sad to know that it crashed into sea. There was some hope of survival until this news broadcast.
The year 2014 has many sad stories of violence, crimes, disaster and loss of lives. The recent being 160 school children shot down in a horrible terror incident at Peshawar and now this 162 passengers lost lives in air crash."

"What is going wrong with Indonesia nowadays?
It is very disastrous to note that this is the third such incident within one year.
One went missing a long time ago and even after huge search operations conducted by all countries, no trace found about the fate of it. Another one was shot down. Both resulted in loss of hundreds of passengers. And this incident now.
It is very alarming situation. Some concrete steps need to be taken by air travel companies and governments to face these kind of situations to avert such incidents in future."

Our educational system should make students practical. Not by memorising bookish knowledge but by understanding things in their true essence through practical applications. Our students should be trained in such a way that they can face the realities of life and be able to tackle life problems easily. They should be taught to live a successful life and be able to contribute something for the betterment of our future generations and the world.'' | |

"Very brutal attacks are being carried out by terrorists and separatists and anti-social elements in all corners.
Man is becoming more animal like and cruel for possessing selfish benefits. This mentality is not good for the welfare of society.
Any complaints and issues should be settled by mutual discussions among themselves. Carrying out attacks and creating horror and destruction is not the way to settle things."

A Comment on approval of Ordinance on Coal and Insurance
My Comment on an article "Cabinet approves ordinance on Coal and Insurance" published in the economictimes.com Dated 24/12/2014 at 10:10 pm.
"The Ordinance should have been promulgated long before.
Increase of FDI in insurance has been unnecessarily delayed all these years. It is good that now at least, the BJP government has been able to promulgate it.
Regarding coal blocks, it was already there in government hands the power to allocate coal blocks which has been mishandled by the coal ministry. Let us hope, this time they will do it properly leaving no scope for any grievances to any party and public.
