A Comment on Power companies increasing tariff in Delhi
My Comment on an article "DERC hikes power tariff, Kejriwal threatens to scrap licences" published in the Economic Times Dated 31/01/2014 at 11:10 pm.
Power companies are increasing the tariffs in all states. It is not a new thing.
Auditing should be done by CAG in all states to look at the real position of these companies. Only after the outcome of Audit results can we arrive at some conclusions regarding whether they are justified or not in increasing the rates.

Is it mere vegetable prices that decide CPI index?
Main food grains like rice, wheat and pulses, vegetable oils, etc. are far reachable to common man. Unless these prices are brought down, the economy is not in a good position from common man's point of view. So much is to be done by our policy makers to bring position under control."
