Further congrats to Virat Kohli for his centuries in both Innings and to Nathan Lyon for his splendid spell taking 7 wickets in 2nd innings and 5 in 1st innings.

A Comment on World's longest Railway route between China and Spain inaugurated

My comment on a report and slide show titled"World's longest Railway route" published in the economictimes.com dated 10/12/2014 at 5:30 pm.


"Very great news. Linking China and Spain through rail route covering 13000 kms is really great. 

It shortened the time taken through sea routes by 10 days. So, they can trade more quickly now. 

But, non-compatible tracks are a hurdle for easy transportation. It required to shift the goods from one type of wagon to another wagon to make up for the differences in tracks. So, it needs to change the tracks also to a similar design throughout the route if trade links are to be boosted."

A Comment on withholding of Anti-tobacco Bill

"Not introducing the bill amounts to supporting the production of tobacco. 

Knowingly you are giving shelter to tobacco producers and traders so that they can continue in deteriorating the health of our people. 

All these bad products of tobacco, alcohol should be entirely banned from being produced or sold. They make people lose their body and mind and affects the social and economical growth of our people, mostly youngsters. 

Benefits and advantages of a few should not be allowed to destroy the health and economy of majority of our country."

"It is great to see that our PM Modi is getting popular with his good and concrete steps in developing our country both economically and technologically. 

Both India and China have much internal market and scope for greater development than others. The point is they should prudently utilize their resources more efficiently with good insight and planning."

A Comment on which loan to pay off first, if there are many loans

"Very useful information given here. 

Highest interest loans should be cleared first and then think of clearing the next higher interest one. 

So generally home loan repayments can be prolonged in order to facilitate clearance of your other higher interest loans. But it does not mean that you can skip instalments of home loans in order to meet your monthly expenses. 


Any type of loan is a loan and it is a burden on you until you clear it. So loans should not be taken in first place. And if you take loan, you should clear it at any cost by reducing your other expenses."

"It is silly to say inflation has reduced. Where is the decrease in food grains, pulses and dairy products? 

Short period reduction in vegetables and fuel prices can't be termed as decrease in inflation. 

Real fall in inflation should result in decreased food cost, rents and transportation, etc. Then only can you tag it as fall in inflation."

	''Very sorry to know of this incident. I didn't watch that Film Festival program. But knowing about this incident of some mistakes by the anchor and the ridicule and mockery that she is facing, I feel very sorry for her. Public should be kind and think rationally about their fellow sisters and brothers. What if that kind of situation happened with their own brother or sister or close kin? Would they mock and ridicule them? Won't they try to support her and tell not to feel guilty? To err is human. If he is not committing any mistake then one would not be a human being. So, in future do not do things like this and mock at helpless fellow citizens.''
