 "Why they are withdrawing support to Windows XP and compelling people to change to windows 7 or 8 operating systems? 

This is equal to restricting their freedom of choice and controlling their tastes and likings by force."

My Comment on an article "Russia's Vladimir Putin orders troops in military exercise back to base" published in the Economic Times dated 04/03/2014 at 2:32 pm.


"In the name of providing safety to their men in Ukraine and particularly in Crimea region, there is possibility of harming their own men. 

So it is better to employ some peaceful means of solving the problem instead of sending troops to Ukraine."

	''Our government should consider the health concerns involved in the consumption of genetically modified food products. They taste very artificially and lack in natural minerals and vitamins which give strength to our body in fighting with diseases. They should not be allowed to be produced in our country. We can increase our production with natural inputs rather than adapting genetically modified methods''

	''If you say that she is wooing voters it confirms that the voters will favour her action of releasing the convicts. When the voters like her decision, it means that her decision is correct and a good one. Then what is the harm in releasing the convicts? She is generous to them and their families. They have already undergone 23 years in jails with severe punishment and hardships. That can be enough punishment for them to realize their mistakes and reform themselves.''

	''I hope for better and like to be of positive outlook and value human values. I think that after serving for 20 years in jails, anyone should become tamed and all his criminal mentality changed to become a good citizen. Moreover, he undergoes much strain and tension all these years and realizes his faults and worries for his acts and its effect on his life and family life. That is really a great kind of punishment for any person which is more severe than immediate death. And there should be some moral lessons also in jails for reforming convicts which make them good citizens.''

"Urbanisation may result in decreasing rural resources needed for agricultural development. 

Our country needs boost in agricultural produce in order to meet increasing demands of population. Shortage of agricultural produce will lead to increased prices of food grains,etc. 

Without satisfying hunger, how can one spend happily in urban culture? So we need both rural and urban cultures equally and not at the cost of one another."

My Comment on an article "Government approves Rs.1000 minimum monthly pension under EPS - 95" published in the Economic Times dated 01/03/2014 at 10:47 am.


"A good step taken by government. 

Providing minimum pension of Rs.1,000 is the most need of the hour as it can be some what relief to pensioners in meeting some urgent bare needs if not all for their livelihood. 

But it is mentioned that it will benefit only 28 lakh people immediately. Why not  the remaining others of the total pensioners of 44 lakhs?"
