A Comment on China's competence with India? at G20 Summit

My Comment on an article "G20 Summit: PM Narendra Modi faces competition from Chinese President Xi Jinping" published in the economictimes.com dated 16/11/2014 at 10:20 am.

"Competition is a good thing for any kind of development. It is competition which makes people think smartly and innovate alternate means of progress.

But excessive involvement by China nowadays is somewhat suspicious. They are already creating tensions in South China sea and Asia Pacific regions.

So Australia needs to be careful to safeguard their interests just like all other countries which are uneasy with China's presence in their sea waters."

A further comment on Russia's presence at G-20

My reply to another comment posted by a reader viewing my comment on the article "Russia to G-20: We are here, so are our warships" published in economictimes.com dated 15/11/2014 at 10:30 am.

The viewer Rajeev Pandey replied to me something like this:

'...........There is every sign of a new cold war now emanating of oil crash. It has nothing to with surplus or low demand, but everything to do with Russia & Venezuela and the US & allies would finish them economically.................'

I replied to him as follows:-

"Sorry. But I don't like imagining things like that. When it happens, then think of solutions.

If something is not in your hands, you can do nothing inspite of your thousand efforts. And, if something is there that can be done, then you can do great things with that some thing.

So, be calm and wait and see."

A Comment on G-20 summit aims

My comment on an article "Russia to G-20: We are here. So are our warships" published in the economictimes.com dated 14/11/2014 at 4:30 pm.

"The G-20 leaders should focus their attention on improving the economic conditions of the world and maintaining peace and security rather than landing into personal disputes between any countries or some particular countries.

They should discuss on problems like mutual trade relations and developmental projects to improve economy and stabilise peace and security among member countries."

A Comment on supply of Indian cattle to Australia and Brazil

My comment on an article "Climate change spurs positive for India: overseas demand for indigenous cattle rises" published in the economictimes.com Dated 11/11/2014 at 4:40 pm.

"Good news that our cattle are being demanded from Australia and Brazil. They have good farms and plains but their cattle population is decreasing.

It is good that our cattle can survive their climatic conditions and are able to reproduce.

But, one thing to be considered is that we have our own demand for milk and other dairy products. Instead of meeting our demands, they are thinking of exporting cattle to other countries for higher profits. This is not a welcome step.

First, we should meet our local demands. The prices have raised too much in the nearby one or two years. They should increase our production and bring down the prices first. Then only can they think of exporting to other countries."

A Comment on How young couples need to plan and act prudently

My Comment on an article "How young working couples can build wealth without compromising on lifestyles" published in the economictimes.com Dated 11/11/2014 at 1:15 pm.

"Very useful article.

Both of you should plan by sitting together and discussing things. You must think of your future.

At present, you may be independent with no children. But think of your position after having children.

Calculate how your expenses will jump to double then. What are your requirements at such times. Children clothes, education, higher education etc.

So wise couples should plan from now itself. Save and invest prudently."

A Comment on the need to manage finances for young couples

My Comment on an article "Ten steps for young couples to lead a financially stable life" published in the economictimes.com Dated 11/11/2014 at 1:00 pm.

"Very useful and important advice to newly married young couples.

Young couples should plan from the beginning of their life itself. A good planning with ample savings and investing in a good house gives you utmost protection in your life.

You can chart out everything with mutual discussion and manage your finances efficiently if you start early."

A Comment on ATM machines being installed for water in Bangalore

My comment on the article ''Water ATMs come to Bengaluru city'' displayed on timesofindia.com Dated 08/11/2014 at 4:30 pm.

''It's a great idea. "Any Time Water" just like 'Any Time Money".

Solving the water crisis through installation of ATWs is a very great appreciative job. The Bangaloreans are great.

I wish this scheme is adopted by all the cities all through India.''

A Comment on Narendra Modi participating in a Cleaning program at Varanasi

Your comment on the article ''PM Narendra Modi cleans Assi Ghat in Varanasi'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com Dated 08/11/2014 at 3:30 pm.

''A good gesture.

He is trying to create awareness among people and setting himself as an example by jumping to action instead of lecturing or showing authority over subordinates to get the environment cleaned for a swatch Bharat.

It should shed the cloaks of superiority or authoritarianism of the high profile administrators and make them act honestly and be examples to society.''

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

A Comment on Modi government and Nifty scale mounting

My Comment on an article "Measures by Narendra Modi government that helped Nifty scale 8300 points" published in the economictimes.com dated 3/11/2014 at 10 pm.

"Things are getting brighter through prudent steps taken by the government in recent months.

Investors are also hopeful of good results and pouring in money through FDI.

Removal of subsidies on Diesel and and other products is also easing the economic position and balance of payments position.

Hope more good days are ahead."
