A Comment on India surpassing Japan's Position in Purchasing pwee

My Comment on an article "India displaces Japan to become third largest world economy in terms of PPP: World Bank" published in the Economic Times Dated 30/04/2014 at 12:30 pm.

"Good to know.

But simple PPP does not suffice. You should possess the currency or income at your hand to spend.

Still the poverty level is much high in our country. Because of this people have to work for very small wages as there is unemployment and opportunities are less as compared to workforce.

So create more jobs at all levels of workforce and remunerate them with sufficient income to meet their essential and normal needs. Then only can we be happy to realise that our currency's PPP is good.

A Comment on National Pension Scheme being sufficient to retire rich

My Comment on an article "Can NPS help you retire rich?" published in the Economic Times of India Dated 29/04/2014 at 5:15 pm.

"A good informative article about the National Pension Scheme which is otherwise not so much popular among public.

But this kind of schemes do not benefit much to the people to meet all their requirements during old age.

There should be some other solid investments earning lucrative interest income to supplement the pension that they receive."

A Comment on Indian business stock value at 75 trillion rupees

My Comment on an article "Seventeen business groups join trillion-rupee stock wealth club" published in the Economic Times Dated 27/04/2014 at 10 pm.

"Very good news to know.

Seventeen business groups are above the mark of one trillion rupees stock value. The overall stock value of Indian business men is 75 trillion rupees which is very substantial amount for development of a country.

But inspite of such big amount of money invested, we are lagging very far behind of many other countries in economic and industrial growth."

A Comment on EC's largest liquor seizure

Your comment on the article ''In dry Gujarat, booze demand soars before polls; EC’s largest liquor seizure in India was made in state'' is now displayed ontimesofindia.com Dated 26/04/2014 at 4:58 pm.

''Why does all this happen at all? Why not ban all these nasty things- the alcohol, tobacco, cigarettes all such harmful products?

Allowing these things to earn revenue is morally not good at all. All these things deteriorate the health as well as healthy atmosphere of society.

Merely putting slogans and keep on producing all these anti-social elements does not work. You should ban everything completely.''

A Comment on Ramdev baba not being considered to be Guru

Your comment on the article ''FIR filed against Ramdev for vulgar comments against Rahul Gandhi'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com Dated 26/04/2014 at 4:40 pm.

''How can he be considered a guru?

A Guru is one who has control over his body and mind. He does not flow with emotions. He will be a role model for all people in his acts and thoughts with pure moral and ethical principles.

Such a person can only be called a Guru not all people.''

A Comment on glitches tainting Election process

My Comment on an article "Don't let glitches taint Election Commission's work" published in the Economic Times Dated 26/04 2014 at 10:55 am.

"It is really a tough job. There should be some mechanism to refresh the voter lists by amending the lists according to changed address of voters.

The lengthy procedure of resubmitting Form-6 for change of address is not a good option.

There should be some quicker procedure like sending a message to the EC for change of address and polling station and making amendments accordingly in the voters list. This can benefit all voters to participate in voting.

Otherwise, they can not go to their previous localities for casting their votes spending so much money and time."

A Comment on markets looking for better triggers to lessen El Nino impact

My Comment on an article "Narendra Modi factored in, market looks for other triggers" published in the Economic Times dated 26/04/2014 at 10:30 am.

"It is good to expect shortfalls always in advance and take necessary steps to meet such problems as monsoon failure, floods and other political or economic hindrances.

But at the same time, we should not panic or think negatively.

Positive thinking should always be your arm with good confidence and prudence to tackle problems."

A Comment on live-in-relationships and their children

Your comment on the article ''Children born of live-in relationships are legitimate, Supreme Court says'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com Dated 24/04/2014 at 11:40 am.

''The decision to uphold such children as legitimate children is a very good decision.

But, I and some more people like me who value women and moral principles, do not consider live-in-relationships as good things.

A man should marry his wife and be loyal to her throughout the whole life in all her happy and sad moments and should never let her down.''

A Comment on managing your debt portfolio

My comment on an article "How to make the most of your debt portfolio amid volatile interest rates" published in the Economic Times dated 22/04/2014 at 10:15 pm.

"Very useful article with tips to select amongst multiple investment options.

The advice to invest in more than one options is a prudent advice.

Do not invest all money on one instrument but invest the same amount in 2 or 3 instruments with varying maturity periods so that you can use that money or re-invest it in other instruments. This way you can be at benefit."

A Comment on a Man shooting facebook friend because she is aged

Your comment on the article ''Facebook date turns bloody: Man shoots woman, then kills self'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com Dated 20/04/2014 at 10:25 am.

''Very silly.

She turned out to be a married middle aged woman. So what?

Friendship is friendship. Why does age matter?

You will be the fool if you go beyond friendship limits and expect something else. It is not her fault.''

A Comment on Priyanka Gandhi's status in Congress party

Your comment on the article ''No vacancy at top in Congress for Priyanka Gandhi, Shashi Tharoor says'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com Dated 20/04/2014 at 10:13 am.

''I think Priyanka can do well with an active top place for her like another VP.

She is already meeting people and making her image in the political scenario. Moreover, she resembles Indira Gandhi and can attract people with some more increased participation.

Younger blood is the need of the hour for any political party as people have become tired of age old politics tarnished with corruption and irresponsibility.''

A Comment on a BJP leader making silly, nonsense statements

Your comment on the article ''Those opposed to Narendra Modi should go to Pakistan, BJP leader Giriraj Singh says'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com Dated 20/04/2014 at 10 am.

''How much silly and senseless statements are being made by some leaders.

They get flown away by personal bias and irrational thoughts. They don't see that they are being mocked at by people. But indulge in using senseless statements.

Very pity on them.''

A Comment on Kejriwal and his parents being forced to leave temple complex

Your comment on the article ''Kejriwal, his parents forced to leave temple complex'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com Dated 19/04/2014 at 10:15 am.

''May be. It is not proper taking advantage of his position and status inside temple premises.

Temple premises should be a collective property of all devotees visiting the temples. All should be treated as equal inside the premises.

So Kejriwal and his parents should not feel embarrassed because of their movement from there.

But they have all right to stay in Varanasi as long as they want to be there. No one should create tension to oust them from that holy city.''

A Comment on experts seeing Sensex reach 35-40k in 2 years

My Comment on an article "Experts see Sensex at 35-40k in two years.........." published in the Economic Times dated 18/04/2014 at 10:10 pm.

"Great expectations. Very lucrative but may be not so much achievable.

Up to 27000 can be imagined as quite possible. But Sensex growing above that mark is too greedy to expect in my opinion. But, may be, I am too cautious. So hope for good."

A comment on a report that Spiderman Andrew Garfield loves being naked

Your comment on the article ''Andrew Garfield loves being naked'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com Dated 13/04/2014 at 3:20 pm.

''Very misleading Titles of articles.

I think his views are not correctly represented by the media people. Where does he say that he wants to be naked? As per the text, he only said that it is imperative or good to be in touch with ones own nature. Anybody will be experiencing this feeling and caring for his body while bathing/ cleaning. No wonder.''

A Comment on government refusing to link tax exemptions and slabs

My Comment in reply to a commenter who expressed his view that I am government employee and gathered much wealth as bribe.

"Don't be foolish and silly. Whoever comments unbiased should not be considered as an antagonist.

This is a very bad mentality of some people. They use abusive words and attacking words as if they are the only person concerned for the welfare of public and all others are enemies.

Be civilized and use some brain in understanding others' words. I was a poorly paid private employee and did not save even a penny for my sons. I am dependant on them now."

A Comment on linking of tax exemptions and slabs to inflation

My Comment on an article 'Government refuses to link tax exemptions and slabs to inflation, to charge higher taxes" published in the Economic Times dated 11/04/2014 at 12:40 pm.

"Is it not a double benefit to the taxpayer?

If you link inflation index with tax slabs and minimum exemption limits and accordingly apply differential slab applications for calculating the tax, it will be a double rebate to the taxpayer: once as an increased salary and again as an additional inflation rebate.

I do not think it to be reasonable from the point of Tax Department."

A Comment regarding election manifesto

Your comment on the article ''BJP releases manifesto, promises to improve economy, end policy paralysis'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com Dated 07/04/2014 at 12:40 pm.

''A good and development oriented manifesto.

But, I am thinking of having a subsidiary manifesto for each candidate also highlighting what he will do for development of his particular constituency.

In this way each candidate can participate in working towards his goals and thereby the whole country will develop.''

A Comment on slow pace of our Indian judiciary process

Your comment on the article ''British court slams Indian judiciary’s slow pace'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com Dated 07/04/2014 at 11:40 am.

''British judiciary rightly held the opinion that Indian judiciary is sluggish in pace.

It is worst than a tortoise's pace. Even a tortoise moves much faster than our files. Very shame on our procedures.

Our courts should do something to regain confidence among our Indian public as well as international image. It should not act only on highlighted cases but on all litigations in an equal justified manner.''

A Comment on need to Stop building Flyovers

My Comment on an article "It it time to stop the endless building of flyovers in India?" published in the Economic Times dated 06/04/2014 at 5:35 pm.

"This is a good point raised needing serious and elaborate discussion.

Flyovers are not solving the problem in bigger cities and metros. Rather they are increasing the problems at many occasions.

So it may be good to look for alternative solutions instead of building flyovers at many points."

A Comment regarding Indians getting more top jobs than China in US

My Comment on an article "Why do Indians get more top US jobs than the chinese" published in the EConomic Times dated 04/04/2014 at 10:39 pm.

"It is a great thing that China caters to their executive talents within home.

It shows that China is economically more developed than India and so chinese need not go to foreign countries for earning.

India should try to follow the example of China to cater to the needs of their workforce."

A Comment on a prediction of the value of Rupee to Dollar

My Comment on an article "Rupee could either be at 55 or 68 in FY 2015, say experts" published in the Economic Times dated 04/04/2014 at 10:25 pm.

"Very silly title. "Rupee could be either at 55 or 68 a dollar".

Why not put it as it could either be at 50 or 100; a more safer side.

What is the sense of this title to this article? It can be assumed by any lay man that it can be like that. No need to tell it now by taking so much pains."

A Comment on elections being short term market booster

My Comment on an article "Elections may provide a short-term market boost: J.P.Morgan" published in the Economic Times Dated 03/04/2014 at 10:19 pm.

"Yes, elections are only a short term boost to markets. Once elections are over, everything will cool down and settle at some equilibrium level.

So elections is not the only thing to be concentrated upon. Many other elements like our foreign policy, development policy mechanism, RBI and Federal Reserve policies all these decide the market movements which need to be closely watched and right decisions need to be taken for economic growth of our country".

A Comment on maintaining status quo by RBI Governor

MY Comment on an article "How Raghuram Rajan could have spoilt pre-election rally on D-street" published in the Economic Times Dated 01/04/2014 at 10:20 pm.

"Great decision by Raghuram Rajan.

Maintaining status quo is a good step. It will definitely control inflation and market activities.

We must wait and see what happens in the period upto 31st June. Both election effects and fund inflow or outflow needs to be watched carefully during this period. Then only any rate revisions can be considered."

A Comment on RBI not allowing rupee to strengthen below 59

My Comment on an article "Right level for rupee at 55? RBI may not let it strengthen below 59" published in the Economic Times Dated 31/03/2014 at 10:40 pm.

"Why Sir, what will be the problem if it pegs down to 56 or 55 per dollar?

Oil imports will be cheaper for us which is the major import item of our country. We can improve our CAD.

Our imports are more than exports done by us. So why not let it fall below 59 per dollar?"
