A Comment On Five Elephants Being Crushed Under Speeding Train In Orissa

Your comment on the article ''Five elephants crushed under speeding train in Odisha'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com dated 31/12/2012 at 3:45 pm

My Comment:
''Very tragic event. As per news, it is due to fog that the train driver was unable to see the animals. They might have come suddenly in his visibility and he was unable to do anything to save them. So, if it is due to fog, we can not blame the driver. As regards prior notices issued to the railways by forest department, the railways should have taken more effective steps to make the drivers alert like installing powerful flash lights on the track to make visibility more clear, etc.''

A Comment on Violent Protests in Delhi against Gang Rape of a Girl

Your comment on the article ''You can't march in protest to President's house, Shinde says'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com dated 25/12/2012 at 11:20 am.

My Comment:
''Shinde is partly correct in stating that justice can't be spontaneous. They have to consider all points and proceed legally. As per his comments, it will not take much time but it requires time. So, making protests breaking rules may not be proper. A committee has been formed by the government to make suggestions for amending the existing laws for women protection. The committee is headed by previous chief justice J.S. Verma. We can give our suggestions to him to make it easier for them to make the amendments in the best possible way to give full protection to women and to take stringent action against culprits.''

A Comment On People Committing Suicide

Your comment on the article ''Singer Nithyasree Mahadevan's husband commits suicide by jumping into river in Chennai'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com dated 22/12/2012 at 4:10 pm.

My Comment:
''Why do people commit suicide, I don't know. Why do they become so senseless and emotional? When they are tense, they should seek some help and consolance from their most dear and nearer. They should not stay alone. They should not take any action spontaneously. They should try to control their emotions and build strength to face the circumstances. Suicidal instinct is cowardice. Further, life is not your sole property to give it up whenever you want. It is the property of the family you live in. It is inter linked with your family members. Loss of your life can be a great blow on their existence. So people should think of their beloveds before they get such ideas.''

Your comment on the article ''US boy brings gun to school, cites Newtown shooting fears'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com dated 19/12/2012 at 5:30 pm

My Comment:
''The school shoot out incident must have braved the child to keep a gun and protect his school mates. But, the elders who kept the gun to his reach should be questioned and fined for their mistake. Sending the child to juvenile court is not the solution. Banning him from school is not proper. He should be given a chance to understand his mistake and not commit it in future.''

Your comment on the article ''Touring India is much easier now: Geoffrey Boycott'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com Dated 18/12/2012 at 10 pm

My Comment:
''England players have improved their performance in recent years. They deserved the series title as a result of their perseverance. But, Indian players were not so serious in their performance and played very casually. They must take it to be more serious and should not under estimate their opponents. A Comment on An Article " Seven Townships Planned Along Delhi-Jaipur EXpressway

My Comment on an article "Seven Townships Planned Along Delhi- Jaipur Expressway" in The Economic Times Of India dated 06/12/2012 at 5 pm

Building of townships on expressways is a good thing. It will attract people and will reduce the overcrowding of metros and cities. People like to live in pollution free, natural environment rather than live in a polluted and overcrowded city. Further, the property cost in such out of city townships will be lower which will induce them to opt for it. But one point to be taken care is, the provision of transportation system in such townships. People always can't travel in their own vehicles. They require some alternative means also. So township plans should contain a clause for provision of some efficient, cost friendly transport system in their plans.

A Comment On the Superb performance of the roles of Police Officers by Our Movie Actors and TV Actors

My Comment on an article in the Deccan Chronicle's Hyderabad Chronicle dated 06/12/2012 titled "Aamir a better cop than Salman".

It is real that Aamir khan depicts the police roles very magnificiently. His roles bring dignity to the police uniform and a better image for the profession. In the same manner, if one witnesses, the role of ofM.Sagar as Mumbai D.G. and his previous role as ACP in the Telugu serial in Gemini tv serials at 8:30 pm (mogalirekulu ), you will be very much moved by his acting. His acting in that esteemed position of police profession is very marvelous and needs to be commended by the police department as a whole. Really his action brings prestige and honour to the posts of ACP and DG.

A Comment On Depiction of Evil Characters in Movies and TV Serials

Your comment on the article ''15,000 men to boycott all Aamir's films until he apologises!'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com dated 05/12/2012 at 12:15 pm

My Comment:
''Even though I am not a viewer of satyamevjayate, I do come to know from circles, that that TV program, or any other previous ones, does not depict both sides of a story. They are one sided truths and depictions. Further more, I would like to say most of the movies and tv serials are concentrating on social evils and violence to the utmost extent. Most terrific villainous roles are being created to the utmost unrealistic extent. Lady characters torturing men and bahus in many TV serials to a very horribly extent has become a common factor nowadays. All these types of creations will deteriorate the values of our human society. It will spread violence and corruption in society.''

A Comment on Surveys Ranking Cities as Best or Beautiful and So On

Your comment on the article ''Bangalore best Indian city to live in: Survey'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com on Dated 04/12/2012 at 5:10 pm

My Comment:
''These surveys do not depict correct picture. A surveyor should go to all corners of the city and should consider all factors into account like standard of living, cleanliness, natural beauty, building designs and colony design, hotels, sanitation, industrial and commercial structures designs and lay outs, traffic jams, transportation development, pollution and many more factors in evaluating a city. So sample surveys don't work out for ranking a city as most developed or beautiful city.''

Your comment on the article ''Patna village bans women from using mobiles'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com dated 04/12/2012 at 4:45 pm

My Comment:
''Very strange! How can the panchayat issue such orders restricting the fundamental rights of people. It is mere oppression of women by men. Your comment on the article ''Cash transfer scheme: EC asks govt to defer its operation in Gujarat, HP'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com dated 04/12/2012 at 4:15 pm

My Comment:
''The election commission has taken a good step by ordering the government to keep in abeyance the implementation of Direct Cash Transfer scheme in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh till the election process is over. It was an unwarranted for announcement made by the Government to win confidence of voters on the eve of polls to assemblies. A Comment on BMC chief's warning to Shiv Sena to Remove Makeshift Memorial of Bala Saheb Thackeray

Your comment on the article ''Remove Thackeray's makeshift memorial in 24 hours or face consequences, BMC chief warns Sena'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com dated 04/12/2012 at 3:45 pm

My Comment:
''Just like silly politics and unwarranted prestige issues. When his cremation was to be made, they should have thought twice, before allowing the cremation in Shivaji Park. But at that time, they were afraid of the emotions of people. Now, all is over and they wake up to rethink. Very silly. When cremation was done, then some memorial should also be there and you can't prevent it. So better leave the matter as it is. Balasaheb is already a hero of Mumbai and a small construction in his memory at Shivaji Park should not be objectionable to any one.''

A Comment on Pre-Election Promises Made By Political Parties.

Your comment on the article ''Focus on housing, jobs in BJP's Gujarat manifesto'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com dated 04/12/2012 at 3:30 pm

My Comment:
''These type of pre- election manifestos for alluring voters to get votes is not a good practice. If a political party wants to do some thing, let it first contest elections based on their own images of the contestants with out offering these kind of promises. When it comes to power, then it should review the position taking into consideration the pros and cons of each scheme it wants to implement. They should not simply promise, that they do this and that. They should review the economic conditions of the country, the budget and the availability of funds and the feasibility, etc. before adopting schemes.''

A Comment on Associating Political Party With A Particular Person

Your comment on the article ''Out of the family way: If India has to move forward, the voting public must wean itself off the Gandhi dynasty'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com Dated 02/12/2012 at 5:10pm

My Comment
''Why this kind of thinking attitude? Why Congress is equal to Gandhi Family. It is a bad mentality of people associating political parties with a selected personality. A political party consists people from all walks of life and all corners of the country. It is not the party of a single person or family. It is very bad habit and mentality of our think world. This attitude must change . If you want to progress first shed off this type reasoning. It is you who have placed the reins in the hands of a certain person or family. Whether it is BJP or Congress or some other party, we can think of better leaders to lead our government for betterment.''

A Comment on Traffic Jams Due To VIP Vehicle Passings

Your comment on the article ''Delhi police commissioner on notice for VIP traffic'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com dated 02/12/2012 at 4:40pm

My Comment:
''This is a very bad practice. Stopping all traffic, for passing VIP vehicles comfortably !!! Why do police think that other people are not Important ? Don't they have work? Are they not important for the country? Why don't they realize that even a minute can cost them a huge loss? Police should treat all people as equal whether VIP or non-VIP and should not interfere in the traffic flow. VIPs have their own security arrangements with a cordon of patrol vehicles around them and need not need any more security from police. They can pass on the roads along with other Aam Admi vehicles.''

A Comment On Corruption: It's Root Cause

Your comment on the article ''Narendra Modi fit to become prime minister, Sushma Swaraj says'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com dated 01/12/2012 at 10 pm

My Comment:
''In my opinion, no political party can claim to be free of corruption. So you can not tag Congress as corrupt party. The present crisis of our country is not due to the failures of a particular political party. It is due to some corrupt people engaged at key posts in the political bureaucracy. So voting out a particular political party is not the solution. The need of the hour is to locate such people who are engaged in corrupt practices leading to the tampering of the economic progress and welfare of the people. Such persons should be removed from power and not the party. So our India Against Corruption and other anti-corruption bodies engage in this work rather than mud slinging against each other.''

Your comment on the article ''Four engineering students injured during ragging in Mathura'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com dated 01/12/2012 at 4:30 pm

A Comment On the Norway " Child Abuse Case- Indian Couple Charged

Your comment on the article ''Norway 'child abuse' case: Indian couple charged'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com  dated 01/12/2012

My comment:
''Actual reasons for the ill treatment of their child is not clear from this report. We must know the details in deep. A simple threat to send him back to India or punishing for his deeds should not entitle V.Chandrasekhar and his wife Anupama to imprisonment. It is reported that he has been wetting pants and stealing toys from school which are bad acts and requires to be punished. How can police interact in such matters? If children do mistakes, they should be punished and guided not to do such things again. Every parent is entitled to do so and it is their duty. So it is not fair to arrest them. Our Government should take up the matter seriously and get immediate release of them. If, at all they want to deal it as an offence committed by parents they may issue some warning to the parents to deal children softly, nothing more than that.''

My  comment on the article ''Rs 17L for kindergarten seat in Tamil Nadu, parents vie to pay'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com dated 28/11/2012 at 3:50 pm
''This strikes like selling and marketing. You are not imparting education but selling it to who-ever pays more. What a Anarchy!!! The very purpose and definition of education is corrupted. Education is the right of every body whether poor or rich. No status should come in between it. When the basic foundation of education is being based on the gap between rich and poor, then what value does it have for students? A Comment On Why Innocent People Are Killed In Natural Disasters

My comment on a blog by  Meena Om  "  Why innocent people are killed  in natural  Disasters "  in  Speaking Tree.com on 28/11 2012.

Natural calamities are just like other instruments of Death. Death comes to every body. It has no disparity. It comes through different means. One such means is natural disaster. So you can't question it. Death has to take place. Whether it is through some illness, accident, natural disaster or any other means. There is no question of innocent people being killed. It is performing its duty according to predetermined destiny of the person that is killed. This fact has been emphasized here by Meena Omji .

Your comment on the article ''State to seek legal advice for arrests in online cases'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com.
''I do agree that there should be some norms and guide lines set up for surfing social net working sites as well as for our print media and telecast media. Everything has got hatch-patch and requires some systematic control. Every where there is gross indiscipline and lack of prudence. You talk, write or expose whatever comes to you. There is no decency and no feeling of respect for others around you and in the society. This tendency of our generation should go and we should develop some healthy practices.   Whereas it is a good thing that our teenagers are becoming more and more efficient in handling computers and advanced technologies, I think that there should be some vigilance over their net working activities. They should be acquainted with our social and ethical norms, our moral and spiritual values, and ample idea of our great heritage and culture. They should be able to differentiate between good and bad, moral and immoral, ethical and unethical and sensible and insensible, etc.

A Comment On Cheap Late Night Calls Plans Offered By Telecommunications

Your comment on the article ''Cheap late night calling plans promoting vulgarity: Pakistan Telecommunication Authority'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com dated 22/11/2012 at  2 pm.
''A good step taken by Pakistan government. In the present environment of continuously increasing vulgarity, there should be some sort of moral and ethical policing. This is very important for our teenage boys and girls equally. There should be some watch over their actions and reactions, but to some extent of freedom. So it is a welcome step taken by Pakistan. But what about India? Are our authorities also interested in safe guarding their country's social and ethical values? If so, then let us also follow the step taken by Pakistan.''

Another Comment on Why We Need To Remember God

My further comment on an article in Speaking Tree Blog dated 18/11/2012 at 12 pm

Venkat Acharya  posted a response on the article Why We Need To Remember God
"We can not escape remembering him at any one point of time. Because we are possessing only some limited capacities and can not face all situations. Life is a very long journey full of ups and downs. When there are ups you forget God and think every thing is the fruit of your endeavour. But whenever you face downfalls you want some one to turn to. First you will turn to your father, mother, kin or friends for help. But when no body is able to solve your problem, you find no other solution but turn to God and request his help. But why don't you do this in the beginning itself. Why don't you remember God whenever you go to perform your duties? When we have have ultimately no other solution but God, it is better we experience his need and presence at the beginning itself."

Comment on Rama's limitations in Ramayana

My comment on an article by Rajiv Barnala in Speaking Tree Blog dated 10/11/2012 at 6 pm

Venkat Acharya posted a response on Rajiv Barnala's blog Ramayana a Story without any Hole

"First of all, every one should know that God has taken the form of Rama with some limitations. He wanted to teach the common man how to live a good and pious life. For this purpose, he behaved like a common man with all emotions and limitations. Even though he was aware of all his supernatural and divinely powers, he practiced the simple life of a good king and and performed all his duties with human consciousness. He never displayed his divinity. We are forgetting this point and unnecessarily blaming God."

A Comment On The Need For Listening To Your Conscience

My comment on an article by Meena Om in The Speaking Tree blog on 10/11/2012 at 4:50 pm

"Pranam Meenaji  ! Listening to our consciousness always leads to betterment. But most of us get flown by our momentary emotions like ego, anger, desire, etc. Escaping these and becoming aware of our consciousness requires our will power. This will power is missing in most of us. Once we get strong enough to listen to our consciousness, we realize how foolish we have been all this period."

''This is a very bad way of competition between producers. Booking majority of screens for their releases and leaving left outs to others. It does not reflect healthy competition. There should be some guide lines to prevent such malpractices. The ultimate sufferers are actual viewers. They are forced to watch a particular movie instead of the other due to unavailability of seats. This is utter " injustice".

James Anderson's Remark on Sachin Tendulkar and My Comment

My comment on a comment of cricket player James Anderson's remark on Sachin Tendulkar in the Times of India edition dated 13/11/2012

The Times Of India
Dear Reader,
Your comment on the article ''Don't treat Sachin Tendulkar with too much respect: James Anderson'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com.

''James Anderson's remark is some what not warranted for. Saying that he does not have too much respect for Sachin Tendulkar is some what offensive language. He should not have quoted this. What is the need for him to say that he doesn't have too much respect. Who asked him whether he had too much respect or not? Such remarks only denigrate the person commenting and show some what of inferiority complex.''

A Comment on The behavior of our silly politicians

My comment on an article in the Times of India edition dated 13/11/2012 at 11:45pm

The Times Of India
Dear Reader,
Your comment on the article ''Narendra Modi behind anti-Gadkari campaign, says RSS leader Vaidya'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com.

''Senior RSS leader MG Vaidya accuses Narendra Modi in public of being the person behind Nitin Gadkari's tarnished image. But at the same moment he is saying that Ram Jethmalani should not have accused Nitin Gadkari in Public. Is n't it ridiculous!! With one voice he says that he is entitled to express that Narendra Modi is behind the attackers of Nitin Gadkari and with other voice he says that the other man has no right to say any thing in public. Very silly ! Politics has become a childish game in the hands of our politicians. Very sad!''

Comment on Sonia Gandhi's Views of Contemporary Indian Fashion Trends

My comment on Sonia Gandhi's view of Indian Fashion in the Times of India edition dated 10/11/2012 at 9pm

Dear Reader,
Your comment on the article ''Sonia Gandhi expresses reservations about contemporary Indian fashion'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com.

''It is true. People are becoming crazy. In the name of fashion they are wasting thousands of rupees to buy a single wear. They are allured by the dazzling designs and cut outs and not caring whether it is comfortable, whether it is suitable to wear in public, etc. They are becoming addicts. Due to this skin shows are increasing thereby leading to crimes. Our whole society is getting spoiled.''

A Comment on Ram Jethmalani's Comment on "Rama Was A Bad Husband"

A comment on Ram Jethmalani's comment in the Times of India edition dated

The Times Of India
Dear Reader,
Your comment on the article ''I don't like Ram, he was a bad husband: Jethmalani'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com.

''Yes, indeed he was correct in saying that Rama was a bad husband because he put her to test of Agnipariksha and even after that he abandoned her to her fate. It was only due to Lav and Kush that he happens to meet her again and pleads for her return. But Sita does not return and ends her avatar. But simply because that Rama was not a good husband, you can't deny his divinity. He was a moral and example for purity and goodness. He cared for his father, mothers, brothers, his subjects and for his people always. You must know that he has taken avatar for the destruction of demons and for establishing peaceful and pleasant life to the mankind.''
