My Comment on an article "Tax saving deposit schemes lose out to better alternatives" published in the Economic Times dated 15/01/2014 at 10:54 am.
"It would be better and generous on the part of Banks and our government, if they can reduce the lock-in-period of tax saving deposits to two or three years. It will help common man and middle class to save something and earn tax benefits also."
